چکیده

Background and Aims: To assess the difficulties encountered while performing coronary angiography percutaneous intervention in anomalous right artery arising from left sinus of Valsalva.
Methods: Between January 2016 December 2020, a total 23 patients underwent eight for an angiographic significant lesion Valsalva. The vascular approach, usage catheters, fluoroscopic time, amount contrast used were also assessed.
Results: Among 6000 1500 performed, 33 (0.55%) had Altogether, 14 type-A, seven Type-B, Type-C, four Type-D Coronary Angiography was accomplished with Tiger catheter 13 patients, Judkins JL 8 Extra-backup (XB3) one patient. In group, cannulation done (JL), Amplatz (AL), XB five, two, patient respectively among five type-A cannulated XB; Type-B JL4; two Type-C AL2. mean time volume consumption 9.9 minutes 47 63ml 229 ml respectively.
Conclusion: Valsalva is difficult due to inappropriate selection guide associated higher both volume. Radial route equally effective successful procedure.

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention of an Anomalous Left Main Coronary Artery Arising from the Right Sinus of Valsalva.

Anomalous origination of a coronary artery from the opposite sinus of Valsalva is an uncommon congenital anomaly. Intervention for concurrent coronary artery disease is challenging due to the location of the ostia, the takeoff of the vessel as well as the course of the artery in question. It is also important, where possible, to exclude a "malignant" course as the most common adverse outcome fr...

A Novel Technique for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for Anomalous Right Coronary Artery Arising from the Left Sinus of Valsalva.

BACKGROUND Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for anomalous right coronary artery (RCA) arising from the left sinus of Valsalva (LSOV) is a technical challenge due to inadequate guiding catheter support to overcome the acute rightward course of the anomalous RCA. In this study we describe a novel technique for PCI for an anomalous RCA arising from the LSOV. METHODS Six patient cases wit...

Percutaneous coronary intervention of a single coronary artery arising from the right sinus of Valsalva

Anomalous origin of the left main coronary artery from the right sinus of Valsalva is extremely rare when not associated with other congenital cardiac anomalies. In this report we present a patient with a single coronary ostium, with both the left and right coronary artery systems arising from it. The right coronary artery was found to contain a significant flow-limiting lesion that was success...

Anomalous Origin of the Right Coronary Artery from the Left Sinus Valsalva with Coronary Ectasia

The abnormal origin of the right coronary artery from the left aortic sinus coursing between the aorta and the pulmonary trunk is a rare congenital anomaly. It may remain asymptomatic or may result in cardiac morbidity or mortality. In the past, an anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the left sinus of Valsalva was considered a benign finding; it is now evident that this anomaly c...

[The anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the right aortic sinus of Valsalva].

Considerable variation in origin and distribution of the coronary arteries has been described over the years. One of the most interesting anomalies is that of the left coronary artery arising from the pulmonary artery in a heart without other defects, first described by Abrikosoff in 1911. Cases were reported sporadically in the next twenty years but clinical interest was not aroused until Blan...
